WOKE CULTURE

There isn’t any “woke culture”, it’s spin. Who’s in “woke culture”, people who get vaccinated, during a pandemic, recognize the existence of an unequal society, with a lot of poor people in it, with no universal health care, an insurrection in progress, the seditionists aren’t “woke”, the “woke” are the people who are politically correct.

Nobody knows what politically correct is, what woke is, but both are being sold hard, as bad. There aren’t any “woke” people. Talk to anybody, try and find somebody who will say that they are “woke”,

The oil cartel that has enormous political influence, it’s not “woke” and the high gas prices are it’s answer to the climate crises, the pandemic dislocations in markets, self serving self interest. The status quo requires that nothing changes. Public transit, electric cars, a living wage, recognizing the climate crises, the pandemic’s consequences, these are sold as “woke”.

“”Woke culture” spin is the status quo at work, successfully. “Woke culture”, political correctness, campaign rhetoric , fodder for the the culture wars. A Trump nation person told me today that he considers the League of Women Voters as politically correct, here we are.
