WikiLeaks and the Russians, 8/19/20

The US intelligence establishment is at it again, Russian meddling, and Wikileaks. WikiLeaks and Julian Assange have said that they had nothing to do with the Russians, and they published the DNC emails. Why would they lie? Why wouldn’t they say they got the DNC emails from the Russians if they had? The US intelligence agencies say they did without any evidence. Assange has always been credible, unlike the US intelligence establishment.

Russian meddling with Trump is something else. Assange’s beef was with the people who had him persecuted and locked up, the Obama administration, in 2012, the Swedish arrest. Assange is still locked up. The Russian hacker in the Mueller Report is actually a Romanian who did time for hacking Bush 2. Doesn’t like the Russians.

Assange is a Freedom of the Press issue, and a human rights issue. He’s been all but forgotten, confronted the powerful, and is still locked up, awaiting extradition from a British dungeon to the US for cabal justice, faces 175 years for conspiracy to hack with Manning, the Iraq war crimes. He’s an Australian who published abroad. The NY Times published the Manning material, and they are silent about Assange’s press freedom issue, his continued persecution for telling truth to power. Why does this get no press?
