WHY ISRAEL, IN 1948, WAS A MISTAKE

Because of all the other people who were there, who were displaced by Jews from all over the World. Those people were left out of the calculus, the people who’d been living there for the last hundred and fifty years. Since 1948, the displaced have been living in refugee camps, stateless, powerless, victims of an international system, The United Nations, in 1948.

Today in Syria, the last bastion of Christians there face who knows what, as do the Muslim sects that are not Sunni Islamist, with the Sunni Islamist takeover this last weekend.
