Too many are sick, too many are dying in the USA, 7/11/20

Mass gatherings, indoors, are the most effective ways to spread the corona virus. Hanging out in bars, indoor restaurant dining, congregating with your friends at parties, not wearing masks, not social distancing, gatherings at churches, particularly with a large choir, can really crank up the contagions.

These are things to do in exceptional America, where magical thinking, and an outright lack of focus on the public health of the nation, has gotten the USA where it is today, in a horrible crisis.

Test, trace and isolate, will not work if the contagion is out of control. The contagion is approaching out of control today. The powerful may be forced to shut the place down again. The virus is calling the shots because the effective control measures are being ignored.

The self centered, not caring about the health of the community, only their economic concerns, those people, people like Trump, whose support on 538, today, registers at 40.1%, get with the program. The present course cannot be sustained.
