TOLERANCE

Here’s hoping for tolerance. You have your opinions, I have mine, and they are exactly that, yours and mine, others have the right, in this country, not to agree with you. In authoritarian countries, you follow the official line or else.

Intolerance has taken root in the good old USA. There are people here who avidly support the ongoing insurrection, the seditionists, as the country experiences a lack of community, commonality, or people would respect one another’s right to have contradictory opinions.

The Declaration of Independence, 1776, celebrated life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, an acknowledgement of the rights of man, that America, not the one being sold by Donald J Trump and the present Republican party, autocrats, seditionists bent on revolution.
