THE PEACEFUL TRANSFER OF POWER

The next election puts into action the new presidential powers that make the president immune from criminal prosecution for official acts, without defining what official acts are. Is contesting the results of the election by ending it for contrived reasons an official act?

This is a slippery slope to rigged elections. A president who refuses to leave office, contrives a story, seizes power, maybe a president leading in the election, has the Justice Department end the counting, claims rigging in the election, or a president elect declares martial law based on fake news.

The Supreme Court decided last month, on a Monday, decided the president is above the law for official acts, a term the court made up, a term which is nowhere in the Constitution. Unelected judges used John Marshall’s made up concept of judicial review in 1803 to invent the concept of presidential official and unofficial duties.

Biden, like FDR, has stayed too long at the fair. Trump is a despot in training. The electorate divided, engaged in an uncivil war. This will insure an election wrapped in a judicial chaos of the Supreme Court’s making.
