THE IDES OF MARCH
A day to celebrate empires, and the reality of them, like billionaires, and tax cheats, and insurrections, and the violent end of life as some people knew it, those Romans, and their Forum, their republic?
Tax cheats, grifters, traitors, insurrectionists, mean people, people who think that they are better than other people, the haves who have too much, and the have nots, who are not meek and have not inherited the earth in any way but filling it up with their billions, our planet in crisis, it’s the weather, it’s the military madness, on a human folly day.
Julius probably never thought about a climate crisis, he thought about power and the next war of choice.
The Ides of March, the end of a republic day, where the empire is invisible at the cost of 900 billion or so with the coming budget, an insurrection in progress, a proxy war, and the Federal Reserve, the national bank, just crashed the banking system, that Ides of March, Julius Caesar day, the end of a republic’s anniversary, I am not hailing Caesar, on this, a human folly day.
