THE HUDDLED MASSES AT THE BORDER
They have never been welcomed, the huddled masses, the Statue of Liberty was sent here by the French as public relations. The welcome the huddled masses actually got was as cheap labor.
Until the last twenty years, the US had enforced employment laws, if you had the right to work in the United States, employers had to verify that state of affairs, workers had the appropriate papers, be here legally to work, or employers were sanctioned and fined.
Lately, children, migrant children, haved been found working in American Industry. Employers are not sanctioned for hiring people without the right to work. The asylum system has been broken by the US “regime change policy” for Venezuela and Cuba. Central America has been destablized by the Drug cartels and a US foreign policy that has done little to create stable living conditions in Central America, and faces a humanitarian crisis with the blame game, a self created political crisis by the ruling elites who run the country.
The climate crisis worldwide, the endless wars, the conflict in Ukraine, have massed the huddled masses at the border from all over the world. The solution to the border crisis is the will of the US government to solve it.
Hiring enough people to process the huddled masses, requiring employers to hire only people who have been vetted as legitimate to work, are not possible in a nation that can also not pay its bills for political reasons. The border crisis is politics, the inability for the country to pay its bills is politics, and the huddled masses have never been welcomed here with open arms.
In 1933, the Donor Class went with Hitler as a ready solution to the chaos the political system had self created with willful divisive partisan politics, blame the blame game by the political class, the political shot callers. Where is the nation’s united action plan to resolve the migrant issues exacerbated by the US regime change policies, that have manifested at the Southern Border today? Hitler had a chaos plan in 1933.
