The Gun Culture

It began here to fix the Indians’ wagons and keep their Negroes in line, their property, their slaves.

Now the gun is a symbol of freedom for people who remember that America nostalgically.

There are a lot of cops in the gun culture, one reason to be a cop, but these assault rifles on the street is not in line with their self interest. These fanatics, zealots, products of our society, our cultural values, are wacking a lot of cops.

Any smart cop should be for banning such weapons of war from their streets, our neighborhoods.
