THE GUN CRAZE

Arms manufacturers sold America all these guns, all these killing machines, turned the place into the killing floor, for financial reasons, used the NRA to sell the culture wars through the craven political opportunists in the American political class.

Compassion, kindness, community values, are what work for the survivors, which at this point, means all of us. The killings are frequent now, ubiquitous, as are the funerals for grieving families.

It is a war of choice perpetuated by the self serving in the political class, and greedy arms manufacturers who market these killing machines. Other countries have sensible gun laws, it is not a bridge too far.

The fact, an actuality, that an assault weapons ban can not be passed in Congress, says that some players in the American political class see the massacres, the funerals, the grieving families, as collateral damage.

Community values, respect for the victims, the dead, require respect for human life, the end of this self induced crisis, the gun craze, pass sensible gun laws, like Canada passed this week.
