THE COST OF WAR AND TRUMPISM
Got an email from trump nation, a list of the billions in armaments left behind in Afghanistan, the message being that Biden screwed up. Emailed back: So much for nation building, hello corporate welfare for arms manufacturers. That’s what some wars wind up being, corporate cash cows enriching all the right people, all the wrong people.

The Taliban still say that they and Osama had nothing to do with 9/11. It really doesn’t matter now. The official narrative has been subscribed to, like the guys in the horse at Troy.

The lesson here is Tolstoy’s remark in Russian, about the Crimean War, when Crimea was Russian, “Wars are money makers.” I’m adding cash cows, for all the wrong people. Remember that when the self interested bang the drums of war.
