THE CASUALTIES, THE DEBATE

Saw it on Chris Cuomo, 1000 dead, 6000 wounded, a million people displaced, exactly where, I do not know, in Lebanon.

Eight people killed by terrorists in Israel. They jumped off a commuter train, fired indescriminately, killed 8, were then neutralized.

The Vice Presidential debate: Two men defined themselves by how they represented their candidacies. Character was on display. Will character count, that is my question. The pundits talked about how well trained a debater the Republican VP candidate was. The Democrat candidate was more effective than expected. Not much discussion of pets eaten in Ohio. Trump’s dispute with the 2020 election did come up as a last gasp.

In the Levant, Iran is in check, the Iron Dome held, Southern Lebanon invaded by Israel so that 80 thousand Israelis can return home, neutralizing Hezbollah. Gaza cease fire is not a subject of discussion today. Those people have been subjugated, Gaza in ruins, the survivors in abject want, in what remains an active war zone.
