“THANK YOU JESUS”

A friend of mine posted a photo of a group of prosperous white people on Facebook, they could be Americans, at lunch or dinner, lets call it Sunday dinner, saying, was the caption, “Thank You, Jesus.”

Below was posted a photo of what looked to me like a farm worker, the man is smiling and he says, “You are welcome,” or the equivalent, in a caption, in English.

The issue at the border is a combination of things, significant factors are the US embargoes, such as those on Cuba since 1959, and Venezuela since it nationalized the oil that had been controlled by international interests. These interests have great sway on the corridors of power in Washington. US embargoes for political reasons, the drug cartels, and the destruction of the rain forest economies in Central America, the expropriations of historically common indigenous land, have caused the crisis at the border that requires a bipartisan solution.

The US government is involved in a domestic civil war which has paralized effective government. There are 3 million or so at the border during these worst of times, it’s a country of over 320 million people, it’s a managable problem that is managed as a campaign issue, the invading hordes mantra.

The border crisis is a symptom of a government involved in Trump’s ongoing coup, and Joe Biden’s old guard resistance to this civil war that turns a page in November.
