Israel is a client state. The tail is not wagging the dog in this one. The US funds Israel to the tune of a little under 4 billion this year. Money talks in these big dog, little dog, trips.

The shot callers are ruthless and concerned with their ulterior motives. Real politics is at play. The US here has chosen not to call off the dogs.

While victims on both sides suffer, the war machine, bipartisan, pursues the interests of ruthless, self serving people, blowing smoke, part of the unfolding scenario.
