Because of inflationary forces in the economy on essential products, gas, and food, trying to pass price controls through Congress makes sense. How many votes will be there? Whose votes?

The party of “go along to get along” faces the grim reaper in November. A shot they can take that would affect the price gouging and excess profits, are price controls.

The people struggling in the economy will welcome an attempt by government to introduce price controls. People benefiting in the present economy will not welcome price controls on their profits.

The Biden administration has the ability to try to influence public opinion with an attempt to introduce price controls, it can act today, do something. Cancel Trump’s China tariffs, that only hurt consumers. “I feel your pain” is a losing argument.
