Kool aide nation, an evolving aspect of Trump generated hysteria. The man is a self deluded narcissist, but not stupid. He is toast if the Department of Justice brings charges, the Sedition Act of 1917 does not care, he broke the law by defying the subpoena, and keeping the State secrets after he left office. The statute is clear, so Trump’s recourse is insurrection.

This “lock and load” movement among his followers, his inquiry to Garland about what he can do about bringing down the heat, is his way of looking for a way out.

Will attacks on FBI offices, Democrats, become a feature of our present like the mass shootings? Insurrections of Trump nation all over the country, like the shooter in Cincinnati, and the Proud Boys in Phoenix this weekend, a feature of our immediate future?

It is a leverage game now, the Justice Department, Garland, and Trump. Will they cut a deal?
