INHERENT CONTEMPT

As late as 1927, if you defied a subpoena from the House of Representatives, the House cop would lock you up in their jail, and fine you for non participation.

Now, they wait to lose Congress, the Democratic majority, and the Republicans in charge, and Hunter Biden, Adam Schiff, and Nancy Pelosi face inherent contempt next term if they defy the new majority and their committee investigations subpoenas.

I do not know why this House of Representatives has chosen to not use inherent contempt to put the squeeze on the seditionists who refuse to testify. Maybe they don’t have the votes.

Ask them.
