Herd Immunity on May Day

The US, it looks like 35 states have eased restrictions today as death tolls rise. Herd immunity is usually arrived at through vaccination, here there is no vaccine and patience has run out among a portion of the political class and their supporters who see the pandemic as a non pandemic, politics to end the current regime, and they won’t go there.

Social distancing is essentially done? If you are a member of a virus targeted group, red or blue, you will be social distancing on your own, the Swedish method. The Swedish method doubles the amount of deaths of its neighbors, so what you can expect here is between 120 and 200 thousand by August, that’s my guess.
