Firing the Postmaster General

Mailman didn’t show up yesterday, had left a letter addressed to a block over, I’d put the flag up. My ballot took six days to go 4 blocks, 10–16 to 10–22.

My information is that there are 4 Republicans on the board who will want to keep DeJoy, so Biden can raise the number of people who call the shots, my info says 3, which will make a 5–4 split, then he can be dumped.

That’s the right tone to set for the administration, dumping Louis DeJoy, the Trump sycophant who fouled up the Postal Service to try and rig an election, with some success.

This man’s goal is to privatize the postal service, which is America’s only public service. Imagine that. He never returned the sorting machines, just said no, to a judge. Biden may try to make nice with the Republicans, but they will take notice if he pulls some levers and dumps DeJoy, something in the American people’s best interest, it’s one and only public service, started by Benjamin Franklin.
