Another round of disaster capitalism, 4/9/20

Here we are in the middle of a pandemic, and what are the fat cats doing, disaster capitalism. They are bailing themselves out and the unpowerful, they suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. The Trump administration wants to reopen the country on May day, May first.

The pork that made its way through Congress will make its way to the rich and powerful, and they will get their trillions dollar bailout, while Main Street learns the hard lessons of rugged individualism, small business, with less than ten employees, are the last in line at the banks.

A bunch of plutocrats, the Davos Crowd, they control the advertising, and it has been able to spin a pandemic into an economic crisis where the “cure cannot be worse than the disease.” These craven individuals believe they can hide in their segregated communities from the poor, but a virus knows no bank balance, ask Boris Johnson.

You don’t resolve the disease or you don’t fix the economy, and that, at this point can only be accomplished with social distancing, and testing. The rich, who rule here, care for their “self interests”, and for profit health care is one of them.

You’re in a pandemic, you covered now that you are unemployed? So go back to work, stand in long election lines during a pandemic, think what you are told, “ the cure can’t be worse than the disease.”

There are more people locked up in crowded conditions in the US than anywhere, a public health issue, that will produce human tragedy in that tool of social control, the prison industrial system. The consequences of the large underclass of economically insecure here is becoming apparent daily, in spite of the advertising.

Others may take a different, more humane approach, but America, the advertising will want you back to work, because fat cats rule. CNN just reported that Federal support for testing has ended. Next that draconian social distancing has to end, as they make America great again.
