EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING

It’s an old proverb, a pithy short statement that’s rememberable. This one is a thought to ponder for an America into self improvement, the American dream.

Donald Trump didn’t make any sense, and Joe Biden was unable to in last Thursday night’s debate. Today, Monday, the Supreme Court gave presidents immunity for official acts, which includes illegal ones, if an official act, as Trump says his coup was. An immunity ruling for presidents, the chief executive, is a threat to a democracy.

A Republic is the silver lining in this cloud, compromised, threatened, divided by factionalism, the republic’s fate will be determined by its citizens in an election in November.
