ELIJAH MCCLAIN

The face of police brutality, and a lack of respect for the civil rights of others, is this tale, a chronicle of the attitude the police have toward people they do not consider human, apparently.

You wouldn’t treat a dog the way the Aurora Police in Colorado treated a slight young man walking home from the store wearing a ski mask and dancing, so he’s arrested for what, looking suspicious, and is brutalized with impunity, a young Black man.

The people who participated in this murder of an innocent, they’ve seen the videos of their behavior and his, and they should be taking stock on how, even if they beat the rap as usual, how will they live with themselves, knowing what they have done.

Elijah McClain, the face of American police brutality, in Colorado, and I thought of Black Kettle and what happened to his people, it’s been reported they had an American flag flying over their camp, at Sand Creek, in 1864, when they were massacred in Colorado.
