CRIME AS A DOGWHISTLE

Whose crime?

People who are crimials, who are they? People who do not respect the rights of others. There are crimes of opportunity, crimes of passion, crimes of pure meanness, humans will find a way if they lack respect for the rights of others, to rationalize criminal behaviors.

People form societies to get things done, and governments to control miscreants, and people who do not respect the rights of others

Violent crimes are more frequent in societies where the instruments of violence are available, guns. Gun violence can be solved one way, sensible gun laws. Police unions are against sensible gun laws, bans on assault rifles, which are in their political self interest, because “qualified immunity” is more important to them than public safety. The Republican party concurs, no gun restrictions, police can not be held accountable the way other professionals are, doctors, for example.

The Insurrection, the ongoing plans to disrupt the election next month, will be conducted by people who consider themselves “law and order people”. This is and was criminal behavior. Crime for them is gun crime by minorities in the gettoes.

It is insidious behavior by those in the political class to forclose sensible gun laws for political reasons, then rail about gun violence that you have fostered with your political behavior.

Crime is an aspect of the human condition, gun crime, gun violence is the product of willful political opportunists who have created the gun craze and the gun culture for political reasons, the country has historically always had sensible gun laws, in the old West it was “don’t bring your guns to town”.
