AN ETHICAL SOCIETY
respects the consumer, as its source of commerce, wealth, and the market place. Many people like the assassinated CEO of the largest health insurer in the US, apparently, are trapped by the bottom line, not to provide a service to the public, but to serve themselves and corporate stakeholders of companies.
In an ethical society, people treat people fairly and provide the service they are contracted to provide, and are dealt with by the legal system for malpractice. This Supreme Court does not like restrictions on practices that serve the interests of the financial markets, not the consumer. It seems the malfeasance by United Health Care is a well known fact by a Justice Department that has historically supposedly worked for the public. The Supreme Court now says the department works for the president, that’s a big change for the government, going forward.
What’s the chance that Trump and his billionaires are going to bring in an ethical society, pursuing the interests of the citizens who voted for him, not the financiers who funded his campaign?
The Assassin will more likely, be caught, face criminal justice. The practices of United Health Care should find the company in deep trouble with the Justice System, if the rumors about its practices are accurate, using an algorithm that denies claims rather than providing the service people paid for. We shall see what we shall see.
