PATRIOTISM IS NOT PARTISAN

Won’t that be brave new world, America, the orange narcissist, acquitted for political reasons, why?

He is a thug. He may have the entire political class successfully intimidated or on his side of the calculus, for the usual reasons, power, position, influence, money.

The Constitution was written by people who knew how to deal with people like them. Inherent Contempt of the Congress used to be an invitation to the Congressional jail. All the people saying no to Congress were jailed, and charged for their stay, as late as 1927, imagine that.

The political class today, both corporate parties, are run by different factions, the Republicans are trapped in States’ rights and Trumpism, the Democrats, the DNC clique, tied to its donor class. Corporate interests prevail in both parties, Wall Street prosperity trumps Main Street prosperity.

The general public is distracted and self interested, pawns in the game. The power brokers on both sides know the republic is up for grabs if Trump is not tried for his crimes against the nation, his insurrection.
