Where I am, in a little former lumber town betweem two reservation casinos, in the lumber land of Washington, people are back to their lives in a snow bound bit of America, about to see a spectacle, a show, the Super Bowl, tomorrow.

The people in Gaza are pawns in a game that is the colony of Israel imposed on them since 1948, and it’s been bad news ever since, the Israeli settler movement. The Americans did it here to the reservations people, those people remember fondly their civilizations.

Some call Gaza exactly what the new American President says it is, 2.2 million people living in ruins, their homes gone. His solution, this week, is a fabulous assertion, typical of the man, resettle the Palestinians elsewhere, build a fabulous and fantastic commercial resort.
