ONE HELL OF A MESS

The Democrats nominated a Black woman selling racial equality, equity, and inclusiveness, and a lot of people did not vote in the election, maybe 15,000,000, and America got a despot and monopoly capital to rule in Washington DC. “The chickens have come home to roost,” as Malcolm X put it, and those chickens may have bird flu, as the price of eggs heads north in time for the US to leave the World Health Organization.

The next Congress will likely deliver the austerity budget that Elon Musk has promised, austerity for the public good will be defined, as will Presidential immunity for official acts. The other proverbial shoe will drop any day, “advice and consent” of the President’s cabinet by a compliant Senate.

The Senate failed to convict Trump twice during his first term. Does the recent Supreme Court immunity decision make the present President unimpeachable if convicted by Congress for treason, bribery or high crimes and misdomeanors as cited in Article 2, Section 4 of the Constitution?

The people have abandoned their democratic republic for one hell of a mess that the republic may not recover from. It’s Tuesday, and early in week two of Donald Trump’s attempts at despotism, and an imperial presidency.

Trump shouldn’t be able to cut off funding allocated by Congress by executive decree, we’ll see.
