GLIMMERS OF HOPE

Trump was in the cards, a Black woman selling inclusiveness, and a threat to the Republic, led to the election of a President of a republic who the rest of the World watches. It’s seen the show before, electing a chief executive who thinks he is above the law. Napoleon was a fine example, as is Vladimir Putin.

Trump will deal with an environmental crisis of epic proportions, and a glimmer of hope is that the epic nature of the crisis makes a them and us blame game impossible, that it’s a crisis beyond partisanship.

Trump’s not going to invade Panama, Canada won’t be the 51st State, and Greenland will not become any more an American terrritory than it is now. These are distractions. Trump will pass tax cuts for people like him, that’s a good place to start, and some of it will trckle down.
