A fitting spectacle for Trumpism, 7/3/20

Put this in your imagination, today another fireworks display on the capital mall, and imagine 4 more years of Donald J Trump.

November, the fake news and the vote by mail fraud, and the absentee ballot fraud will be confronted by as few open polls as the present administration can arrange. The lines will be long, the wait in poor neighborhoods elongated, and there will be legions of lawyers and poll watchers to disrupt that vote.

Trumpism requires a disorderly process that can be disputed, taken to the courts, and defied if the count doesn’t go his way. Unless it’s a landslide in the other direction, there’s going to be hell to pay, November 3, 2020.
