The US is trapped in the fog of war on two fronts, Ukraine and the Middle East. Biden is an old cold warrior, he sees the big picture as hegemony and dominion for the present wrecking crew. The US Congress is a clown show captured by clowns.

A cease fire in Gaza? One arms deployment after another, the frenzy of the rising destruction has begun to develop a momentum. The will to power and domination being realized on the ground, in the destruction of a city, block by block, building by building, soul by soul, is intoxicating for the perpetrators, the arrogance of their power realized in the destruction of their enemy.

The principals in this reckoning, for Bibi, the settlers, it’s about territorial expansion, for Hamas, the Palestinians, the religious fervor driving their holy war is desperation at their prospects going forward.
