LIFE AS A GIFT

1984, spent the Fall in Europe, cruising with a Eurail pass, saw more, lived more, than I had expected. We are live adventures in consciousness, quite a gift.

Cold night, very dark, bright stars,

Hardly any moon,

Down shifting to climb

Up into the mountains

While making an especially wide turn,

I thought about life as a gift,

An adventure in consciousnes,

The gift is its own master,

Unique to its unique character,

Present in a world of wonder,

Thought about this life as a gift,

The gift, always a mystery,

An adventure in consciousness,

Existence here and now.
