SO WHO CARES?

Americans voted in the Presidential election for an insurrectionist who does not respect the Constitution and the Constitutional order. They didn’t want to vote for the status quo, the DNC party. They took a chance and voted for a man who does not respect democracy, yet saw Trump as the right move.

Trump told bold faced lies about almost everything. He featured the threat of undocumented immigrants. It is illegal to hire people without papers. Congress could use e verify for all employment in the country, no work without e verify. Congress can hire people to process the millions of delinquent asylum claims, and register everybody who wants to work for work. This used to work in America.

America voted for Trump, and will get him, the people’s choice. Wishful thinking has brought America Trump’s America again. Will it deal with America harshly, petulantly, undemocratically, and with the impunity of a banana republic?

We’ll see.
